Imagine…being surrounded with the rich history of a house made famous by Nathaniel Hawthorne. The old Mansion towers in the background, as your guests arrive to views of our lovely garden and beautiful Salem harbor.
- The Seaside Lawn is a beautiful site for a wedding, reception, or business event. It is also a memorable location for a special dinner or cocktail party. The combination of wonderful Colonial Revival gardens, 17th century historic homes, and a spectacular oceanfront creates a day that you and your guests will long cherish.
- The Seaside Lawn is available days and evenings on a seasonal basis. The Lawn can accommodate 200 guests for dinner with a dance floor; or 250–300 guests for cocktail or lecture style events.
- Our modern Plumsock & Holyoke Rooms, just off our main Visitor Center Lobby, are
available year round and are suitable for smaller gatherings. The space can accommodate 75-seated guests for dinner with a dance floor, or 100 guests for a cocktail or lecture style event.
- The Hooper Hathaway House is a lovely, intimate setting for very small gatherings.
The Great Room and Dining Room can accommodate 30 guests for dinner or up to 50 for a cocktail reception. The building is adjacent to our Seaside Lawn so your guests may readily access the gardens and oceanfront.
