The Gables is excited to offer the following sponsorship opportunities in the upcoming year.  Your contribution will benefit the dual mission to help under-served immigrant children and preserve our historic houses.

Caribbean Connections     $10,000 Program Sponsor

This five-week program allows middle school students to explore Salem’s maritime history, realize the importance of the Caribbean in the original “trade triangle”, and discover how that region’s major commodity, sugar, contributed to Salem’s economic success.  Students will strengthen their English language skills, adopt a proud understanding of the contribution their ancestors played in the building of Salem, and develop a deeper connection to their new home.


Gables Field Trips for Public Schools   $5,000 (for one year per grade)

This program provides 500 children the opportunity to experience the wonder of history through Elementary Student Field Trips.  Children learn about history, literature and maritime trade, climb the secret staircase, explore our seaside campus and enjoy a day of learning on site at The Gables.

Sponsor your City or Town’s 3rd and/or 5th Grade students!  Option of three to five year pledges available.

Taste of The Gables 2016     $10,000    $5,000    $2,500   $1,000     

The House of the Seven Gables will be hosting its signature annual event, Taste of the Gables, on Sunday, September 18, 2016. This event is a benefit to raise money for the House of the Seven Gables important preservation projects, and has been a terrific achievement the last two years.  This year is sure to be just as successful!  Dozens of chefs, vintners, and distillers from across the region will showcase their specialties and vie for your vote in the Best Chef and Best Beverage competition.  Set along the beautiful Salem harbor front on the lawn of the House of the Seven Gables, the night will feature a silent auction, with original pieces of art and other exciting items lining our beautiful garden paths.  To cap off the evening, guests will participate in a vibrant, live auction under the tent!  All proceeds from the event will benefit preservation projects for our eight historic houses and maintenance of this National Historic Landmark District site.

October Performances   $1,000     $1,700     $7,000

During weekend nights in October, The Gables offers two different theatrical productions performed by actors in the rooms of our historic houses: Spirits of the Gables and Legacy of the Hanging Judge.

This offers a unique opportunity for businesses to promote the performing arts to a large number of attendees.

 

 

The Gables is a 501(c)(3) charity and your donation is fully deductable under the law.  No goods or services were exchanged for this donation.
